Dior Sauvage EDT vs EDP vs Parfum

Dior Sauvage Review & Comparison

Hello, Sauvage lovers Today I will do review and comparison Dior Sauvage EDT vs EDP vs Parfum.

Christian Dior also called "Dior" is one of the leading luxury brands not only in France but also in the rest of the world. Dior started carving its path in 1946. And since then, it took the fashion industry like wildfire. Dior clothing lines use details that emphasize male and female refinement but still look simply chic. But perhaps, Dior's signature products are its perfumes. If you're into perfumes endorsed by famous celebs such as Jhonny Depp, you should get a bottle of Dior Sauvage.

Allow me to show give you a review of Francois Demachy's latest creation -Dior Sauvage. I'll talk about Dior Sauvage EDT vs EDP vs parfum. I'll provide you an idea of their smell, look, suitability, and other key details you need to know. I hope that this will help you choose wisely.

1.Dior Sauvage EDP (Showcasing Men's Power):

Dior Sauvage takes inspiration from the vibe of the night cloaked dessert. Dior Sauvage expresses the inherent quality that men have - power. " I didn't focus on power, the job was to come up with tones that bring out this trait best," Francois Demachy says.

Indeed, the scent of Dior Sauvage has a strong feel to it. This perfume meets the nose in a very dominating way. Its fragrance saturates the air quickly. The smell of Dior Sauvage is hard to miss. This perfume greatly personifies the domineering character of men. Its scent is one that seeks to gain attention and glory at all times. Dior Sauvage is a great perfume for dates.

How does Dior Sauvage smell firsthand? This perfume uses the top notes of Calabrian Bergamot and Papua New Guinea's Vanilla Absolute. The Calabrian Bergamot gives this perfume a peppery, fruity, and zesty hue. On the other hand, the Vanilla Absolute balances the multiple fragrances that Calabrian Bergamot has with its creamy and smokey smell.

The perfume bottle is designed in an uncomplicated manner. It's finished with black then paired with a hue of brown. Also, manufacturers didn't put a lot of embossments on it. This makes the bottle very easy to carry and store.

    Dior Sauvage EDP Pros:

    • highly noticeable smell
    • spicy, creamy, zesty, and smokey smell
    • the perfume bottle doesn't look too fancy

    Dior Sauvage EDP Cons:

    Reasons to Buy:

    • the perfect perfume for dates
    • the perfect perfume after doing workouts in the gym
    • has a scent that people ages 25-30 will love

2.Dior Sauvage EDT (Perfume for The Outgoing Man):

Francois Demachy's inspiration for Dior Sauge Sauvage EDT came from the voluminous trait of the outdoors. Dior Savage EDT is the embodiment of the freedom that the outside has to give. It aims to incorporate the feel of arid landscapes and the blue horizon which perfectly symbolizes the outgoing man.

Dior Sauvage EDT has the same peppery, fruity, and zesty smell that Dior Sauvage EDP has. However, its smell is milder compared to Dior Sauvage EDP. The fragrance of Dior Sauvage EDT has this caressing feeling on the nose- not too powerful nor too mild. Its smell is just right for people who are looking for a perfume that goes well with other fragrances.

Just like Dior Sauvage EDP, Dior Sauvage EDT uses the scent of Calabrian Bergamot as one of its top notes. The second top note sets Dior Sauvage EDT apart from Dior Sauvage EDP. Remember that the former uses Vanilla absolute, but the latter doesn't use this. Instead, Dior Sauvage EDT uses fragrance derived from Ambroxan. Ambroxan has a subtle woody and smokey smell that lasts for long. It's this scent that gives mildness to Dior Sauvage EDT.

All in all, I'll describe Dior Sauvage EDT's fragrance as welcoming. It's a perfume that provides you with a refined image but not too refined for people to avoid you. Because of this, I recommend Dior Sauvage EDT for hanging out with friends attending parties or going to the club.

The perfume bottle of Dior Sauvage EDT is more attractive than that of Dior Sauvage EDP. Its color is strikingly similar to the morning and dusk horizons of arid landscapes. It's a bottle that makes you wonder of the things that are about to come.

    Dior Sauvage EDT Pros:

    • has the fragrances of Calabrian Bergamot and Ambroxan
    • has a scent that lingers for long
    • appealing perfume bottle

    Dior Sauvage EDT Cons:

    • not very noticeable as compare to EDP

    Reasons to Buy:

    • milder smell than Dior Sauvage EDP
    • great perfume for everyday use
    • has a scent that young people will love

3.Dior Sauvage Parfum (The Warm Heart of A Man):

If you feel that Dior Sauvage EDP's smell is a bit halfhearted, you should go for Dior Sauvage Parfum. Dior Sauvage Parfum collects all the scents of Dior EDP in a single point to give a stronger impression. It's not an improved version of Dior EDP because both work equally well. Dior Sauvage Parfum is more of a perfume that provides the experience which Dior EDP cannot give.

The smell of Dior Sauvage Parfum is more striking than the scents of Dior Sauvage EDP and Dior EDT. Its fragrance makes you think back of the warm seasons where everything is nice and lively. Therefore, Dior Sauvage Parfum has the most comforting touch out of all the products that I mentioned here.

Specifically, Dior Sauvage Parfum has an oriental fragrance. It has a zesty and fruity smell as with the previous products. However, this smell is accompanied by warmth in Dior Sauvage Parfum. The additional musky and rich fragrance make you think of the wilderness in the east. This is primarily due to the combination of the scents of Mandarin Bergamot, Sri Lankan Sandalwood Essence, and Vanilla absolute.

The warm essence of Dior Sauvage Parfum makes it perfect to be worn for work, formal gatherings, and business transactions.

The perfume of bottle of Dior Sauvage Parfum is filled with lots of indentations. Indentations go around the cap and placed on the bottom part of Dior Sauvage Parfum's bottle. Aside from the indentations, it's not as pleasing to the eye as the perfume bottle of Dior Sauvage EDT however.

    Dior Sauvage Parfum Pros:

    • has the fragrances of Mandarin Bergamot, Sri Lankan Sandalwood, and Vanilla Absolute
    • has a warm essence
    • fancy looking perfume bottle

    Dior Sauvage Parfum Cons:

    • not a good perfume for outings, and other recreational activities.

    Reasons to Buy:

    • comforting smell that professionals will love
    • a concentrated version of Dior Sauvage EDP

    Final Verdict:

Dior Sauvage EDT vs EDP vs parfum; which of this should you buy? To tell you frankly all of these are great perfumes. They are perfumes that deliver the character of men. If you find it really hard to decide, then allow me to help you.

Dior Sauvage EDP is great if you're looking for a perfume that's highly noticeable. The powerful scent of Sauvage EDP will help you stand out among the crowd.
